How to Delete Your Glasp Account
At Glasp, we strive to provide a seamless and enriching experience for our users, empowering them to highlight, organize, and share their knowledge effortlessly. However, we understand that circumstances change, and you might decide to delete your Glasp account. In this guide, we’ll walk you through the steps to ensure a smooth and secure deletion process.
Step 1: Log In to Your Glasp Account
- Open your preferred web browser and navigate to Glasp.
- Log in to your account using your email address and password or via the login method you originally signed up with (e.g., Google or Apple).
Step 2: Navigate to the Account Settings
- Once logged in, click on your profile picture or avatar in the top-right corner of the screen.
- Select Settings from the dropdown menu.
Step 3: Locate the Account Deletion Option
- In the Settings menu, scroll down to the Account section.
- Look for the Delete Account option. It may be listed as "Delete Account" or similar.
Step 4: Confirm Your Decision
- Click on Delete Account. A confirmation dialog box will appear, asking you to confirm your choice.
- You may be required to re-enter your password or verify your identity to proceed. This step ensures the security of your account.
Step 5: Finalize the Deletion
- After confirming your decision, Glasp will initiate the account deletion process in at least a couple hours. Please note:
- All your highlights, notes, and associated data will be permanently removed from our servers.
- This action is irreversible. Once your account is deleted, the data cannot be recovered.
Important Notes
- Subscription Cancellation: If you’re a Glasp premium user, ensure you cancel your subscription before deleting your account to avoid being charged further. You can manage your subscription via your account settings or through the platform (e.g., Stripe) used for payment.
