This notice explains how Glasp Inc. handles professional contact information about people we have not met yet, when we reach out about sponsoring or partnering with the Glasp Newsletter. It applies alongside our general Privacy Policy, which covers people who use Glasp's products.
Who we are
Glasp Inc.
548 Market St PMB 26241
San Francisco, CA 94104, United States

What we collect
- Your name, employer, and job title
- Your business email address
- A link to your public professional profile, where one exists
- The public page or announcement that led us to you (for example, a conference sponsor list or a company press page)
We do not collect personal email addresses, home addresses, phone numbers, or anything about you outside your professional role.
Where it comes from
- Your employer's own website: team, press, events, and partnership pages
- Public event pages and sponsor lists for conferences your employer hosts or sponsors
- Public announcements such as funding news and product launches
- Public web search results about your employer and its marketing team
In some cases we do not find your address printed anywhere. When your employer publishes addresses in a consistent format, we may infer your business address from your name and that format. An inferred address is a guess, and we say so in our records. We do not buy contact lists from data brokers.
Why we use it
To identify the person at your company who handles sponsorships, events, or marketing, and to send one short business proposal about the Glasp Newsletter. We may write to a few more colleagues at the same company if we hear nothing back, and we stop as soon as anyone there replies or asks us to.
We do not use this information for advertising to you, for profiling, or for any purpose unrelated to that proposal.
Our legal basis
For recipients in the United States, we follow the CAN-SPAM Act: every email identifies us, includes our postal address, and has a working way to opt out.
For recipients in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, we rely on our legitimate interest in proposing business partnerships to people whose professional role makes the proposal relevant, balanced against your interests. You can object at any time, and we will stop.
Who else sees it
Providers that help us do the above, acting on our instructions:
- Web search and page retrieval services, to find public pages
- An AI model provider, to read public pages and extract names and roles
- Email verification services, to check whether an address can receive mail
- Google Workspace, for our contact records and email
Your information may be processed in the United States. Where the law of your country requires it, we use approved safeguards for that transfer.
How long we keep it
We keep prospect records for as long as we are seeking sponsorship and partnership contacts, so that we do not write to the same person twice and can honor your choices. We delete your record when you ask us to. Requests not to be contacted are kept indefinitely, limited to the minimum needed to honor them.
Your choices and rights
- To stop further contact, reply to any email from us with "no thanks", or write to kei@glasp.co. We honor this within 10 business days and usually the same day.
- You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to our processing, by writing to kei@glasp.co.
- If you are in the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland, you also have the right to complain to your data protection authority.
Changes
If we change how we handle prospect information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
