Glasp: PDF & Web Highlighter for Researchers & Learners
Glasp is a PDF & Web highlighter that helps you collect and organize your favorite quotes and thoughts from the web. You can also access other like-minded people’s learning and build your AI clone from your highlights and notes.

Responsibilities

  • User Research: Conduct user research, including user interviews, surveys, and usability testing to gather insights and understand user needs and behaviors.
  • Wireframing and Prototyping: Create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to effectively communicate design ideas and solutions.
  • Visual Design: Develop visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces that align with our brand identity and enhance user experience.
  • Interaction Design: Design interactive elements and ensure intuitive and seamless user interactions across our platform.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure design feasibility and alignment with project goals.
  • Usability Testing: Plan and conduct usability testing sessions, analyze results, and iterate on designs based on feedback.
  • Design Systems: Develop and maintain design systems, style guides, and UI components to ensure consistency across the platform.
  • Stay Updated: Keep up-to-date with the latest UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies to continuously improve our product.

Requirements

  • Experience: Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing design projects.
  • Tools: Proficiency in design tools such as Figma or similar.
  • Research Skills: Strong skills in user research and usability testing.
  • Creativity: Excellent visual design skills with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate design ideas and concepts.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to solve complex design problems and deliver effective user-centered solutions.
  • Collaboration: Experience working in a collaborative team environment.
  • Education: Degree in Design, HCI, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with responsive and mobile design.
  • Familiarity with HTML/CSS and front-end development principles.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices.
  • Experience in creating and maintaining design systems.
