đź’» Glasp Web App
â–Ľ Can I highlight PDFs, images, videos, podcasts, audio transcripts, books, social media, etc?
- PDFs: Yes. Please visit "How to Upload and Highlight Local PDFs on Glasp"
- Images: Yes. Please visit "How to Highlight Images with Glasp"
- YouTube Videos: Yes. Please visit "How to Highlight YouTube Transcript"
- Podcast: Yes. We collaborate and integrate with Snipd, an AI-powered podcast player. You can highlight podcasts with Snipd and show them on Glasp. Please visit "How to Sync Your Snipd Highlights with Glasp"
- Audio Transcripts: Yes. Please visit "How to Transcribe Audio Files: Audio Transcripts"
- Social Media: Yes. Please visit "How to Highlight Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn Posts"
- Books: You can import Kindle highlights. Please visit "How to Download Highlights and Notes from Kindle"
â–Ľ Can I import highlights from other platforms like Weava, Hypothesis, Medium, Instapaper, Pocket, and Readwise?
Yes. Glasp can import highlights and notes from Kindle, Snipd, Readwise, Matter, Medium, Instapaper, Hypothesis, Weava, Raindrop.io, Diigo, Wallabag, Airtable, and Pocket, plus any CSV file. You can find all importers under Settings, then Integrations, in the Import tab.
Note: Pocket shut down in July 2025, so the Pocket import works with the export file you downloaded before Pocket's deadline.
â–Ľ Can I export my highlights and notes into other note-taking apps?
Yes! You can export your Glasp highlights and notes to your favorite tools, including Notion, Obsidian, Readwise, Roam Research, Tana, Workflowy, Zotero, and Anki. You can find the integrations under Settings, then Integrations, in the Export tab. For tools without a direct integration, such as Logseq, you can copy and paste your highlights, or download them as TXT, CSV, or Markdown files.
â–Ľ How often do integrations sync?
It depends on the integration.
Notion offers daily auto-sync on paid plans, so new highlights are sent automatically once a day.
Workflowy and Tana have a Daily Sync toggle in their modal, under AUTOMATION, once you have connected them. Turn it on and Glasp exports new highlights once a day without you doing anything.
Obsidian works the other way around. The official Glasp plugin pulls your highlights from Glasp, so there is nothing to run on the Glasp side. Click Import Glasp Highlights in the plugin settings whenever you want the latest ones.
Whatever the integration, you can always run the export yourself with Export All Highlights. Re-runs only send the pages that changed since the last export, so you will not end up with duplicates.
â–Ľ Do you offer a private mode?
Yes, for users seeking more privacy and enhanced features, Glasp Pro is available. By upgrading to Glasp Pro, you gain access to unlimited private highlights and notes, allowing you to keep your insights just to yourself or share them selectively.
Please visit this tutorial: How to Highlight Privately on Glasp
â–Ľ Do you offer a group feature?
As of August 2026, we do not have a group feature. However, we've received several requests for this feature, which would allow highlights and notes to be visible only to group members, enable commenting on other members' highlights, and use common tags among group members. We plan to develop this group feature alongside the private feature and will announce its release when it's ready.
â–Ľ Can I comment on other people's highlights or notes?
As of August 2026, the answer is no. You cannot comment on other people's highlights or notes. One of the ways to interact with other people on Glasp is to react through the "Insightful" button on the Home feed.
But we understand the importance of interacting with other people. And it enhances our learning, so we will add that feature. We'll let you know when we release it.
â–Ľ What is AI Clone?
AI Clone is an AI version of you, built from the highlights and notes you've saved on Glasp. Because it learns from what you've actually read and found important, it answers in a way that reflects your interests and thinking. You can chat with your own AI Clone from your profile page by clicking Ask AI Clone, and you can also ask other people's AI Clones on their profile pages to learn from what they've read.
â–Ľ Can I turn off or hide my AI Clone?
Yes. Go to Settings, then AI Clone & Hatch, and change Visibility of Your AI Clone from Public to Private. Your AI Clone then stops appearing to other people, and only you can ask it questions.
Your highlights and learning memories are yours either way. On the same page you can download them with Download Your Learning Memories.
