As of December 15th, 2022, we don't have the private mode function. This is because of our mission, which is to democratize access to other people's learning and experiences as their utilitarian legacy.

We will have the private mode at some point for sure. For instance, when we cover other media formats like books, we will have the private mode due to the copyright issue. Democratizing access doesn't mean that we can break the rule and jeopardize the publisher or content creator's revenue.

As of December 15th, we don't have the group feature. We have been receiving a feature request asking for the group feature. The group feature includes making highlights & notes viewable only for group members, commenting on other members' highlights, and using the common tags among group members.

We're planning to have the group feature and build it along with the private feature. We will let you know when we release it.

As of December 15th, 2022, the answer is no. But we understand that organizing and managing your highlights & notes from other places are very important to develop your knowledge. Connecting the dots is how we make senses.

Therefore, we would like to have this feature at some point. We don't have a specific timeline for this feature but will get there, so please bear with us 🙏

Yes. We have an iOS and Android app. Please install the app through the following links.

• Images: No, as of December 15th, 2022.
• Videos: You can highlight YouTube videos. Please see this tutorial.
• Audios: No, as of December 15th, 2022.
• Books: You can import Kindle highlights. Please see this tutorial.

We are going to cover other formats such as images, audios and books at some point. We will let you know once it's ready to share with you ;)

As of December 15th, 2022, the answer is no. You cannot comment on other people's highlights or notes. One of the ways to interact with other people on Glasp is to react through the "Insightful" button on the Home feed.

But we understand the importance of interacting with other people. And it enhances our learning, so we will add that feature. We'll let you know when we release it.

As of December 15th, 2022, the answer is no. We have the extension for Chrome, Brave, Microsoft Edge, Safari, Opera, and Vivaldi. We're going to develop it for Firefox, but we cannot guarantee when it'll be released, so please bear with us 🙏

As of January 29th, 2023, the answer is no. But we receive this feature request from many users, and we understand that dark mode is better for eye health and some people prefer to read content with a dark background. So, we're going to build it for sure. But we apologize for the inconvenience until then.
